
Art direction and design for digital beauty promotion.
Feelunique tasked me with refreshing their ‘spend more, save more’ beauty promotion creative. Typically it had previously been graphic led so I wanted to bring an element of photography into play. I was involved in concepting the photoshoot direction, through to the finished design.
I decided on a concept of stacking products to play on the building element; below are some references that were a big source of inspiration for the art direction.
Graphics had previously been used to avoid availability issues with specific products. With this in mind, I opted for non-branded products in keeping with the brands seasonal colour palette.
Above and below is how I incorporated the creative into banners for the web homepage and emails.
For all the photography route was successful refresh, I was also conscious that issues may occur or ultimately a graphic route would still be preferred. Below are some graphic routes I created as backup.
